Casting Calls: "Young, Irreverent Chef for FN Project"

The following casting call just came in over the wire for a new mysterious Food Network project. No word on whether it's for TV or the web, but if the casting call is any indication, it will involve magic, pot smoking, and a hilarious vaguely ethnic host. Sounds like a hit:

The Food Network is looking for a male CHEF (early to late 20s, any ethnicity) to co-host a new short form project.

Ideal co-host is a Zen Chef with a Yoda-like ability to make magic happen in the kitchen with limited ingredients and lots of imagination – will be able to make perfect poached eggs, make it look fun & interesting & totally do-able.

Looking for great skills and an irreverent sense of humor. Must be instantly likeable. Think a combination of Harold AND Kumar – innate precision and knowledge with a laid-back approach.

2-day shoot in early to mid-October in the NYC area.
