Bruni is on the blog today and discovers the scam that is bottle service and that little ol' rumor that restaurants actually stay afloat due to alcohol mark-ups: "...when you’re looking at a whole-bottle price, as at Cafeteria, the discrepancy is glaring, proof of what all of us have always heard but have seldom paused to analyze: that restaurants make a profit on alcohol well in excess of the profit they make on food."
