East 5th Street Empires: The New Seymour Burton Partners

East Village: A brief but not so minor update on the situation on East 5th St. Sad case Seymour Burton, the restaurant that closed for a complete overhaul after being shuttered by the DOH back in July, is still closed and is now set to open in late October. Owner Adam Cohn still isn't ready to reveal what the new focus, name, or menu of the restaurant will be. However, there is this—his new partners are some of the folks behind Black Iron Burger Shop just down the street. Seeing that Seymour Burton was most well known for its burger, we could have an East 5th Street Burger Empire on our hands. Stay Tuned.
