The Drying of NYC: The Mercury Dime Showdown

East Village: As reported last week, Sasha Petraske is having another go at getting his coffee shop/bar Mercury Dime a liquor license. You can see on the left here that he's asking the community to throw him a bone and get behind him in support. But don't think for a second that those seasoned protesters and angry neighbors of 5th Street are going to release their clutch on a new license without a fight. See, to the right, the flier posted two doors down from Petraske's at the Dime. If you want a show, tonight's CB3 circus is it.
