3) Madison Sq. Park: Some exciting news from Park Ave. South: "A branch of FIKA the Swedish espresso bar (that I think opened in midtown a few years ago to great fanfare t but haven't heard anything about since) is opening on Park Ave South between 28th and 29th, just south of Les Halles. 4) Cobble Hill: Smith Street is getting a spin off of Williamsburg's Wild Ginger. Per Brownstoner: "Another small step in the gentrification of Smith Street: Beauty parlor out, trendy restaurant in. According to a liquor application (and a sticker a reader spotted in the window), a new 'Pan Asian Vegan' restaurant called Wildginger is slated to open in the storefront at 112 Smith Street formerly occupied by Kendel's Beauty & Barber shop." 6) Fort Greene: Brownstoner brings word of a new Turkish place coming to Fort Greene: "The former home of My Little India (now a frequent vendor at the Flea) at 96 South Elliott Place in Fort Greene is getting a new tenant: a Turkish restaurant.
