More From the Ciprianis

2008_08_RainbowRoom.jpgThe Times reports that the liquor license settlement isn't the only news coming out of the Cipriani camp. There's also the small issue of a feud with Rainbow Room landlord Tishman Speyer. Today, the family is asking the city to deem the famous restaurant atop 30 Rockefeller Center a landmark to “protect the Rainbow Room from being converted into office space by the venue’s landlord..." Yet, according to the piece, Tishman-Speyer has no plans to convert the space but is simply unhappy with the "shabby state of the space under the Ciprianis." [NYT]
