We've heard a lot of mixed reviews for South Brooklyn Pizza, the Carroll Gardens pizza place with only two items on the menu—a cheese pie and a chocolate chip cookie. But what's really curious about this place is that they have no toppings because they want to be "authentic," but the owner and "pizzaiolo" is a professed amateur who seems to make up his technique as he goes along. Now the story gets even stranger, courtesy of the Strongbuzz: "...if you're craving some more action on your pie, say pepperoni or mushrooms, or a bit of sausage, now you can bring your own toppings that the pizzaiola will be happy to add to your pies." Jokers. [Strongbuzz]
