Sheridan Square

Looks like those grand plans of turning the old Tasca space into a private dining room for Sheridan Square have fallen through. The owners realized that a tapas/wine bar will have a better chance of raking in some profits: "Per KBHall, the space is now scheduled to reopen in September as a wine-and-tapas bar called Tierra. Franklin Becker will be providing the Mediterranean fare while still cooking next door and Sterling Roig will be running the wine elements in this West Village 40-seater." [Zagat]
