Forget yesterday's report that the Irving Mill folks were scouting Core Club's chef Dan Kluger. Nick Fox and Flo Fab report that Ryan Skeen, well known from his job at Resto and most recently linked to Brooklyn's The General Greene, is taking the position:
"Skeen, who’s helped Nicholas Morgenstern out at the General Greene in Fort Greene, will also be overseeing the menu at the wine bar, Bovindo, which the owners of Irving Mill hope to open in November down the block, at 30 Irving Place....Bruni called Skeen’s work at Resto 'heart stopping,' in more ways than one."It was only a matter of time before Skeen ended up somewhere where he could shine (no offense General Greene) after he made a name for himself at Resto.
