Two high school students took samples of sushi from four NYC restaurants and ten delis and had their DNA tested. It turns out a full quarter of their samples were mislabeled in the restaurants and stores, with tilapia posing as white tuna, smelt roe as flying fish, and everything from Atlantic cod to Acadian redfish sold as red snapper. Sadly, they won't dish on where they got their samples. [NYT]
