WILLIAMSBURG— Finger on the Pulse is throwing their final barbecue of the season, this time with a special guest: "The third and final installment of this year's summer BBQ series features none other then our hero Sam Mason. Star of Dinner With The Band and executive chef at Tailor...The date is Wednesday Aug 27th, rain or shine, over at Hope Lounge on 10 Hope St., Brooklyn...the Heartschallanger Ice Cream Truck will be outside selling you sweets." PARK SLOPE— Some great plywood intel coming our way from Brownstoner: "South Brooklyn's first ramen restaurant will open in the storefront vacated by a Chinese take-out joint on 4th Avenue and Degraw. The owners of Aussie-themed gastropub Sheep Station, which is a block away, are behind the planned restaurant. The menu will be 'all ramen,' according to one of the future restaurant's proprietors, and they're hoping to open sometime in November." [Brownstoner]

LOS ANGELES— At the Google campus near LA in New York City, the Google Kitchen serves Krispy Kreme bacon cheeseburgers, and they are quite a thing to behold. [Eater LA]
