The Full Hanson and the owners of Beatrice weren't the only ones battling it out with community members last night. Sapphire Strip Club appeared before CB4 to request a cabaret license for their new space in West Chelsea and were faced with major community opposition. In the end, the committee wouldn't decide on the cabaret license due to "renovations that may be taking place without Department of Buildings approval." However, the developer says there's really nothing to worry about: "You can't see into the place, and you won't even know what it is except for the well-dressed doorman standing outside." [Curbed]
