DUMBO— The contenders for Rachael Ray's 2008 Burger Bash, the highlight event for the New York Wine & Food Fest this fall, have been named: David Burke, Emile Castillo ("the burger joint" at Le Parker Meridien), E. Chewy Cereceres (Kobe Club), Ronny Cohen (White Manna), Tom Colicchio, Katie Lee Joel, Adam Perry Lang (Daisy May's BBQ), Michael Lomonaco (Porter House New York), Duane Owen (Foxwoods), Mike Price (Market Table), Al Roker, John Schenk (Strip House), Shake Shack, Art Smith (Table Fifty-Two), Laurent Tourondel. LOWER EAST SIDE— A PR person already emailed us about THOR's new chef Jesi Solomon back in May, but perhaps now it's official. From the release: "At Thor, Solomon will incorporate his characteristic bold flavors into a market-fresh menu.
