City Magazine has a piece on family meals (the staff meal pre-service) at eight of the city's restaurants including Chanterelle, Buddakan, and Allen & Delancey. Apparently Gramercy Tavern has the best spread (an 8 course meal when the reporter was there), Centovini serves leftovers, and Per Se's FOH staff always makes plates of food for the BOH staff.
