EaterWire: Thomas Keller in LA, The Diner DOH'ed, and a Frying Pan Update

New, 2 comments

LOS ANGELES— Eater LA has been spreading rumors about this for awhile now, but today all is confirmed: Thomas Keller is opening a Bouchon in LA. It'll be 11,000 square feet over two floors, complete with balconies. The chef will be Rory Herman, currently chef at the private dining room of Per Se. [EaterLA]

FINANCIAL DISTRICT— Nassau Street's The Diner has been hit by the DOH. Note their ongoing promotion of Cold Beer however. [EaterWire]

WEST CHELSEAThe Frying Pan is without a doubt, honestly and truly, back open for good. And not a moment too soon. Cutty's got the pics and the new menu (Maine Lobster! 'Clam Bake' on the Hudson!), and apparently, the crowds have been thin so far. Get. Over. To. The. Pier. ASAP. [Cutlets; previously]
