From yesterday's comments: "While on the subject of recently bygone Greenwich Village eateries and what that portends, Chez Brigitte on Greenwich Avenue closed only a week or so ago after a long decline in quality. Caught lookin' at the premises last Thursday (July 3rd) were Rob Kauflet of Murray's Cheese, and uber restaurant-designer, David Rockwell with several assistants taking measurements and making notes. When I asked if they had signed a lease, both said they were only considering possibilities for this tiny space." [Eater Comments]
