You've won this round, CB1. Eytan Sugarman, the restaurateur who drew ire from Community Board 1 when he proposed opening a sports bar at 6 Murray St., has dropped his plans to open the space and withdrawn his application for a liquor license. He didn't comment on whether the community board's resistance played a role in his decision. Perhaps he just wants to focus his full attention into a second Southern Hospitality.
