DOH Chronicles: Chickpea Can't Catch a Break

East Village: And the DOH strikes again. This time it's the 14th St location of falafel chain Chickpea. Management puts in a good effort by putting up four bright yellow signs stating the restaurant is closed due to "Unforeseen Plumbing Repairs," as a way to divert attention from the one ominous official yellow DOH sign. But we don't think they're fooling anyone.
