1) Park Slope: Yet another outpost of DC-based chain Five Guys Burgers and Fries is slated to open this week (previously plywooded) in Park Slope, according to TONY. They write: “Because Slope dwellers can’t live by the Coop alone, the Brooklyn nabe has welcomed an outpost of this Eat Out Award–winning burger chain. 2) Chelsea: Greek chain Uncle Nick’s is reported to open a new outpost in Chelsea this week according to Flo Fab. She writes: “This branch of the popular Greek restaurant has a white stucco facade trimmed in blue, a rustic interior and balcony tables. It is to open on Thursday. 3) FiDi: Flo Fab also reports on the opening of Fresco to Go downtown which will apparently feature some free food giveaways. She writes: “The downtown version of this takeout store has a 100-seat cafe.
