2) Upper East Side: Italian restaurant Alloro, brought to you by Salvatore Corea (Spiga, Bocca, and Cacio e Pepe) is set to open tomorrow as well according to the press release. Details are as follows: “The welcoming and fresh setting - the shiny black bar and tables, with pearly white walls- mirror the creative menu selections. Salvatore has taken classic Italian specialties and transformed them into gastronomical creations that surprise and delight. The menu offers a selection of cheeses and cured meats, alongside pasta, meat and fish dishes; as well as Chef Salvatore's renowned dessert selections.” Status: Grand Opening tonight. 3) Inwood: And much further uptown, word that Indian Road Café will be opening its coffee bar tomorrow with a wine bar soon to follow comes from Uptown Flavor. Not much menu info is posted at present but this bar/restaurant/market also features one random bonus detail: “This larger section is furnished with tables and chairs formerly of The Sopranos restaurant set, Nuovo Vesuvio.” (The co-owner worked on the set for the past ten years.) Status: Not Open, opening tomorrow. 600 W. 218th Street, Inwood; 212-942-7451. [Uptown Flavor]
