EaterWire: Ed Cotton Out at Veritas

FLATIRON— What a day in revolving door news! This just in from the tipline: "Ed Cotton the chef at Veritas was fired last monday the 19th." A call to the restaurant confirms that Cotton left his post as executive chef "sometime last week", but the powers that be are leaving a number of questions (including who will replace him, where he's going, and whether or not he left voluntarily) unanswered. However the chef is already absent from the "people" section of the restaurant's official site. Remember Cotton accepted the job just eight months ago when Scott Bryan left the restaurant with no destination in mind. Any intel is much appreciated.
