Balazs' Rosé Debut

2008_05_andre.jpgWomen's Wear Daily runs a piece on hotelier André Balazs' new private label rosé just in time for its Memorial Day weekend debut. We learn that Balazs knows nothing about wine making ("I'm an avid consumer, but I'm no expert"), the bottle design of two bikini-clad girls was inspired by his daughters (and their chihuahuas), and he probs won't stop at rosé: "'I am a big fan of burgundies,' he says, 'so I've started looking around, but it's not about trying to force anything.'"
