Yesterday the National Trust for Historic Preservation named the LES one of the country's 11 “most endangered historic places”. To add some color to the news, Urbanite profiles Carmine Morales, the owner of the 32 year-old Classic Coffee Shop: '"This was always a stop over for immigrants,' he said.
