Following up on yesterday's Andrew Carmellini gossip, Pete Wells brings news of ex-Lever House chef Dan Silverman's new project for the summer and his gig at the Standard: "He will be the chef at Sunset Beach, Andre Balazs’s St. Tropez-style hotel and restaurant on Shelter Island, N.Y...It is a warm-weather gig, and should keep him busy while he waits for a bigger Balazs project to fall in place, the towering Standard: New York in the meatpacking district."
