2008_04_wafels.jpgEarlier today a reader sent an email about how popular waffle truck Wafels & Dinges does not sell homemade waffles. The owner of the truck responded by saying that he imports the pre-made waffles from Belgium (because they are the best in the world) and heats them up in his truck on a waffle iron. Here's what we're wondering: 1) Why doesn't he import the ingredients and make a fresh batter?, 2) Why does he use a waffle iron to heat them up instead of say, a toaster oven?, and 3) What do all you street vendors think of this?
