MIDTOWN EAST— Cutty reports on some chef changes at Lever House: "After a solid five-year run, chef Dan Silverman is leaving Lever House. 'Dan is moving on, looking to take the next step in his career,' says owner John MacDonald. 'He’ll be here for the next few weeks...' For his part, Silverman is mum on his next project, though said a restaurant of his own was 'certainly a possibility.'"[Cutlets]
MIDTOWN WEST— Though AMNY already mentioned the possibility of the soon-to-shutter Cheyenne Diner relocating the structure, it looks like the idea is making some headway: "Local preservationist Michael Perlman has launched the Committee to Save the Cheyenne Diner, hoping to preserve and move the circa-1940s structure, one of Manhattan's last railroad-car-style diners...'If he can make sure that it's movable ... sure I'm open to that,' said [owner] Papas."
