We've now received four emails regarding the crazy "garish" signage at the plywooded Thai restaurant Kurve on 2nd Ave and East 5th St., and now is the time for action. Located in the old Mosto space, Kurve has been coming for awhile now, originally applying for a liquor license transfer over a year ago and appearing in the Times' fall preview last year. The attached chef, Andy Yang (of Nouvelle), merits some attention, but not as much as Karim Rashid, the notable designer who dresses all in white and pink and is most likely responsible for the restaurant's new neon front. Place must be getting close, people. Got any more wacky plywood shots? Send them over and we'll add them to the gallery.
