Upper West Side: The long promised move of Michael Psilakis' and Donatella Arpaia's UWS spot Kefi is finally upon us. Reps confirm that the restaurant's new location at 505 Columbus Ave (between 84th and 85th) will open to the public for the first time tonight, just five months after the original projected opening. The new iteration of the old Kefi space is still tbd, but we don't expect it until well into spring '09.

As for the Columbus Ave space, new features include: the ability to make reservations and pay with credit cards, lunch and brunch hours, an extra floor, a private dining room, and a whopping 130 additional seats. The menu will remain mostly the same at the same price point, with a few additions here and there and a new $16.95 prix fixe. Status: Certified opening at 5:30 tonight. 505 Columbus Ave, UWS; 212-873-02000
