East Village: For a quick review: a) open a hot dog spot on St. Mark's Place with giant dog on awning called Good Dog; b) shutter Good Dog mere months after opening; c) open coffee shop on St. Mark's Place with giant dog on awning called Spots' Cafe; d) shutter Spots' Cafe within year of opening (right). Perhaps it's time to retire that dog and start with a clean slate.
