Top Chef's Ariane just finished up her Today show segment. She's no Eric Ripert (on the show earlier in the morning pimping his new book), but surprisingly, she does a pretty good job of staying calm and explaining her dishes. Unsurprisingly, one of her dishes, marinated shrimp with avocado cream, is served in a martini glass (like her horrifying dessert from ep 2). Bonus fun: Kathy Lee calls the dish she spit out back in August "putrid." [EaterWire]
