The Cutting Room will close in two weeks: "the Flatiron club known for impromptu celebrity jams and wild "Saturday Night Live" cast parties, will close after a Jan. 13 performance by Joan Rivers. Steve Walter, who co-owns the club with Chris Noth, says that business is good but that the lease was lousy. "Our rent has tripled since we opened 10 years ago," says Walter."
