Before we close up shop for the year, we're going to have to address the matter of making last minute New Year's Eve plans, as our finger-in-the-wind calculation has many more people spending the night here in New York City than in recent years. To that end, sort of, comes a communication from the land of The Boulud. It is from last New Year's Eve. Our Bombe au Chocolat dessert was presented inside large golden balloons and placed in front of each guest with a pin for popping. It gave dessert "bombe" a whole new meaning."
