EAST VILLAGE— Though many have speculated on the future of East Village cocktail spot Death & Co, we at least know they'll be open through the new year. Owner David Kaplan is selling 60 $100 tickets to his New Years Eve Party, which will feature "Specialty Cocktails, Champagne, food, Rare Spirits, Bearded Bartenders, Dear Friends, Drunken Sots." NEW YORK CITY— Zagat is teaming up with 16 major New York City restaurants to host a two month-long series of "Vintage Dinners." Each restaurant will replicate a menu from the 19th century for one night only, giving a portion of the proceeds to a NYC charity.
