For starters, Frank the Tank had us ride the zilch train last week. Kindly refer to the schedule and you'll see that she ain't coming two weeks in a row. Three bags is entirely out of the question and the dizzuce is a long shot. The medium-size critics who have been in so far have been mixed (Cheshes liked; Richman, Freeman didn't like). The consensus is that much of the food seems forced, with some items verging on the ridiculous (see the pickled watermelon, pigs in wet blankets). Added to the fact that the Bruni is no fan of chef Brad Farmerie's work at Public, we just can't imagine this going that well. Lucky for the house, the place is gorgeous, and the design alone is strong enough to bring home the non-hammer drop. Yessir, Eater's taking the sweet one star action.
