EaterWire: Knitting Factory Move, Top Chef Hangs, Artisanal Deals

TOP CHEFFAGE— A big tip for Top Chef fans from the inbox: "Had dinner at 24 Prince last night and on the way out the door I spotted Richard Blaise from Season 4 sitting at the bar. I walked out and came back inside, thought I would say hi. I thought is was very cool that they support each other. Nikki (the chef) was standing behind the bar. I said hi to Blaise and then realized the entire bar was full of top chef alum...Antonia and Stephanie (season 4), Dale and CJ (season 3) and Leann Wong (season 1). I lost my words for a second but it was a Top Chef Fans dream!! Nikki told me that they view the show every Wednesday there. Very cool 7 chefs all togther." [EaterWire]

WILLIAMSBURG— According to the NY Press, the entire Knitting Factory staff (minus two managers) will lose their jobs when the venue relocates to the old Luna Lounge space in Williamsburg next year. [NYP]

MURRAY HILL— Some new deals from Artisanal: "Terrance Brennan's Murray Hill brasserie Artisanal is rolling out three new multicourse menus: a $24.50 three-course pre-theater menu, served nightly from 5–6 PM and 10–11 PM...a $36.50, three-course dinner prix fixe, available all night, with choices like Parmesan gnocchi; and a $21.50 three-course lunch."
