EaterWire Am Edition: Brennan Respondes to Protestors

We're hoping this will be the end of it, but we suspect it's not. Terrance Brennan has released a statement in response to the Brandworkers protesters who have accused him of using Wild Edibles seafood purveyors after agreeing to join their boycott:

"Contrary to what Brandworkers International is telling the press, I have not communicated, either verbally or in writing, my decision to stop using Wild Edibles as a purveyor for Artisanal. In fact, in a previous press statement I specifically stated that we have continued to use Wild Edibles...As I have said before, we have no evidence to date that confirms Wild Edibles has engaged in illegal or unethical practices, labor or otherwise."
