Frank Bruni's review of Ilili is up, and while nytimes.com hasn't fully produced the item yet—the stars and vitals box is isn't yet live—it reads like one star: " In general Mr. Massoud does better with these sorts of straightforward dishes and preparations than with more creative riffs...All the meats I sampled — the lamb loin; the beef with foie gras; chicken — were juicy, smoky and flavorful. Despite missteps elsewhere on the menu, Mr. Massoud is running a kitchen capable of discipline and finesse." [NYT]
