The Dish: Tailor Actually Opens

All rejoice, for Sam Mason's Tailor has opened. We're told that Saturday was the official first night, and that tonight she'll be as open as the as the day is long. Operating hours: 6:00 PM until 12:00 AM. If you want to spot a famous chef or twelve, we suggest you sidle up to the bar around 11:30. With all that's been said about the place, it'd be a bit much to rehash all the details. Suffice it to say, this is Mason's grand debut as a solo chef. The small plates concept of 'sweet' and 'salty' offerings is certainly bleeding edge culinary thinking, and time will tell if the people take to it. We'll have the Kalina roll through the place shortly, and hopefully call it quits on coverage thereafter. The most current menu is below, for your perusal. 525 Broome St, Soho; (212) 334-5182
