Eater Inside: Noble Food and Wine

Kalina, 9/11/07.

2007_09_noblefw2.jpgThe sell at Noble Food and Wine, which opened quietly late last month, is wine—piles of the stuff, by the glass, thanks in part to the handy-dandy Enomatic wine machine (right) they've located behind the bar. There is Ridge and Gaja and more waiting for you, per the Kalina photoage, and an organic-style American menu in the back. The chef here is Daniel Dorado (Marema); furniture is Philippe Stark.

New York doesn't really need another wine bar, of course, but we do give this operation credit for bringing in the $15K Enomatic, previously only in use at Union Square Wines.
