Plywood Special: Five Guys New York Takeover Update

It's been a small bit of time since we got an update on Five Guys, the DC burger concept that is slowly making its was through the five boroughs. Next up on their debut list is 43 West 55th Street, opening next month, we're told by a serious insider. After that, 349 Sixth Avenue was to be next, but that plan has been scratched. Seems current tenant Cold Stone Creamery (right) was a bit more married to their lease than they'd let on. But no matter. Here now, in a world exclusive, we bring you the next two New York locations for Five Guys: If current scheduling is on target, by the end of the year there will be Five Guys locations at 296 Bleecker Street, currently Villa Pazzo, at Seventh Avenue South; and 496 LaGuardia Place, which is now Okinawa.
