BruniBetting: Bar Stuzzichini

Tomorrow, Frank Bruni reviews Bar Stuzzichini, the casual Italian joint in the Flatiron. Today, the Eater oddsmakers have set the action as follows:

Zero Stars: 4-1
One Star: 2-1 ??
Two Stars: 6-1
Three Stars: 75-1
Four Stars: 25,000-1
With Franny's having gotten a deuce last week and this restaurant getting the review treatment in the first place—it was not too flashy an opening—it stands to reason we're looking at a one star review tomorrow. Mr. Adam Platt had a deuce for it on Monday, which is another positive factor. Normally it would indicate a deuce from the Bruni, but there's something about the buzz on Bar Stuzz in aggregate which indicates to us that it's getting just a single star: first, there isn't much talk about the place and, second, what talk there is is positive, but not rabid. Take the long odds on two if you wish, but we've got our cake on a nice, enthusiastic one star show.
