EaterWire: Brennan Installs New Kitchen Team at Picholine

UPPER WEST SIDE—Right on the heels of the departure of Craig Hopson (for One if By Land, TIBS), Picholine owner Terrance Brennan announced today that he's made two new hires. To the press release we go: "Terrance Brennan, Chef/Proprietor of Picholine Restaurant in New York, has assembled a new culinary team for his elegant Upper West Side establishment from two of New York's finest restaurants...Scott Quis, who joins Picholine as Chef de Cuisine, most recently worked with master Chef Daniel Boulud at Cafe Boulud. Executive Sous Chef, Jason Hua, comes to Picholine after a four-year rotation through the kitchen of Jean-Georges, Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten's acclaimed restaurant." The restaurant will remain open during the transition, including serious menu tweaks, which should be fun to watch. [EaterWire]
