The Dish: Toloache, Fiorini, twofiftyeight Cafe

It's been a quiet week for restaurant openings. Here, three new spots you should know about.

1) Toloache: Chef Julian Medina, who many know from Zócalo and Maya, is behind this Mexican restaurant in the Theater District. From Andrea Strong, we learn that the menu here will offer slightly-pricey standards such as pork-stuffed tamales, huitlacoche quesadillas and mole poblano. 251 W 50th St between Broadway and Eighth Ave; (212) 581-1818 [Strongbuzz]

2) Fiorini: Lello Arpai, father of Donatella, brings us this old-school Italian eatery. The place, which will begin serving dinner tomorrow, has a menu of traditional dishes like veal parmigiana, baked clams and osso buco. 209 E 56th St at Third Ave; (212) 308-0830 [Flo Fab]

3) twofiftyeight Cafe: Gracing Malcolm X Boulevard, this new caffeine spot has wifi, pastries, smoothies and soups. It's opening tomorrow at 7am. 199 Malcolm X Blvd between Jefferson St and Putnam Ave; (718) 618-0432 [Bed-Stuy Blog]
