Things to know about the 2007 Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Denver layover edition.
1) F&W flies Flay first class, seat 2B; likes the aisle. Opts for carry on, so as to get on the earlier Denver/Aspen hop. Smart.
2) F&W flies Chang bulkhead. It's a nice seat, 6C, don't get us wrong, but it ain't 2B.
3) The first mention of the famed and debauchery-riddled 212 House occurred exactly 18 minutes before we left NY. This Scott "Mr. 212" Feldman character, aka Conant's consigliere. Worth knowing.
