Plywood Report: Rayuela, UES Mystery, & Sanzin in Ft. Greene

Eater readers have sent along a massive amount of intel about the venues featured in last Friday's PLYMANIA special. We'll hold those until early next week, though, and meantime dive back in with our regular Friday Plywood Report.

1) Lower East Side: An Eater reader emails, "Walked by a new spot going up on Allen between Stanton and Rivington—signs on the front said 'Rayuela—interviews upstairs.' A check of Craigslist confirms it." The Real Estate has more on this new joint (at 165 Allen Street, to be exact) today too; the "freestyle Latino" eatery (complete with two-story olive tree) aims to open next Friday. [POST-PLYWOOD]

2) Upper East Side: "There is a forest of plywood up at the old Manhattan Grille spot, on the corner of 64th and 1st Ave." Anyone got the scoop? [PLYWOOD]

3) Fort Greene: Eat for Victory has the scoop that Johannes Sanzin, the chef and co-owner of Maggie Brown, Pequeña, and Olea, is moving into the bodega space on Fulton & Clinton Avenue. Developing, etc. [PRE-PLYWOOD?]
