The tipster word: "Walked past the soon-to-be-reopened Provence on MacDougal & Prince last night around 6:30 -- brown paper is down, new flags are flying. Looked like a friends & family event to me..." Indeed, from unofficially sourced intel, we understand that the place is ready and owners Vicki Freeman and Marc Meyer (Five Points and Cookshop as well, obvi) may throw open their doors ever so slightly as early as this weekend.
