EaterWire: Bond St Back on Its Feet & More!

NOHO/EAST VILLAGE—From a reliable source, we hear that Bond Street Sushi, forced to close due to a fire, will reopen in two weeks, on April 20th. [EaterWire]

MURRAY HILL/PARK AVE SO—DOH-shuttered Les Halles remains as such. Furthermore, a very reputable source whispers, "Whatever Les Halles says, the reason they got DOH'd was walk-ins with temperatures well above 50 degrees." Eatery management is quoting "any day now" for the reopen, but by "any day now" they don't mean today or tomorrow. [EaterWire]

CHELSEA—An interesting tidbit today from F&W's Mouthing Off: is Jim Lahey of Sullivan Street Bakery fame looking to open a pizza place on Ninth Ave and 24th St? From this blind item, it looks like Slice has gotten wind of the rumor as well. [Mouthing Off]

MIDTOWN WEST—Pastry chef Stelio Parliaros, known for his modern Greek desserts, will be gracing Hellenic restaurant Molyvos with his presence throughout the month of April. From the press release that landed in the Eater inbox, we glean that he'll be doing all sorts of crazy things with sheep’s milk ricotta and tahini. [EaterWire]
