Here, basking in Spring sun, is Landmarc [TWC]. Today was to have been her official opening, but instead exec chef/owner Marc Murphy opened his breakfast, lunch, and dinner restaurant a week early, last Monday. Landmarc will be the canteen that the Time Warner Center has needed from the outset, with its signature, discount wine program and 7 am to 2 am, seven nights a week hours. Design for the restaurant is by Clodagh Designs in collaboration with Murphy. The chef de cuisine is Frank Proto and your woman at the front is the GM, Jonna Gerlich.
As for the menu, the prudent course of action is to go with the NY bistro staples. If its sister restaurant in Tribeca is any barometer, grilled meats and daily specials are absolutely the right choice here; if in on a Saturday, do not miss the spaghetti bolognese.
