1) Markt: Belgium dining hall Markt reopens today in their new Chelsea digs, the venue formerly known as Sensa. Just this past weekend the place was Plywooded, but it seems the crazy MePa expats move quick. Field report, #1A: "Must have opened today. Sitting at the bar eating lunch now." 2) PJ Clarke's at Lincoln Center: The long-awaited Upper West Side outpost of NY's most classic pub has finally opened, following an 18 month plywood stint. PJ's on the Upper West is located in the former Iridium Jazz space, just opposite Lincoln Center. Reader first impression: "Open and fully-functional and actually way more polished than the east side version." The rendering above is from the P.J. Clarke's website.
