Eater Inside: Silent H

Kalina, 3/21/07

Out to Brooklyn we go for Silent H, Plywood alum and casual Vietnamese joint. The principal at the currently-BYO venue is Vinh Nguyen, once of Santa Monica's Father's Office fame, and he is in the house nightly. His menu is an array of somewhat traditional fare adopted for NY, such as the caramelized black peppercorn pork chops. Bonus intel: Nguyen's mom is in town from the West Coast this week, so do look for the daily specials.
